Compare Jot's Surprise Bonus Gift and Mystery Gift on price, size options, and the trade-off between a bonus add-on and a standalone surprise.
Quick answer
Choose the Surprise Bonus Gift when you want a coffee gift add-on that feels like a reward attached to your order; choose the Mystery Gift!! when you want a lower-priced standalone surprise for a coffee lover. Both keep the contents secret, so the decision comes down to price and whether the item is a bonus or the main event.
The real difference is price and framing, not the surprise
Both items are Jot swag with undisclosed contents, so you cannot compare them by what is inside. The catalog lists the Surprise Bonus Gift at USD 8.00 (compared with USD 16.00) and the Mystery Gift!! at USD 7.00 (compared with USD 14.00). That one-dollar gap is small, but the framing differs: one is positioned as a bonus treat, the other as a mystery item.
Because the exact contents are kept secret until arrival, neither option lets you match a specific item to a recipient. Treat the purchase as a low-cost surprise rather than a planned gift with known contents.
Size options work the same way on both
Both products offer a Size option, and the only listed size choice is 'Just Wait & See.' In practice, that means you are not choosing a garment size or a flavor; you are accepting the surprise. If you need to know what you are buying before it ships, neither product fits that need.
When the bonus framing matters
The Surprise Bonus Gift is described as an exclusive Jot bonus item and a treat for yourself or a gift. That makes it a natural coffee gift add-on when you are already ordering coffee and want a little extra delight in the box. The Mystery Gift!! is described as a fun way to add something new to your coffee routine and is positioned for Jot fans and coffee enthusiasts who love surprises. If the surprise itself is the point, the Mystery Gift!! is the more direct choice.
Trade-offs to weigh before you choose
- Price versus framing: The Mystery Gift!! costs USD 7.00 and the Surprise Bonus Gift costs USD 8.00. If you want the lowest-cost surprise, pick the Mystery Gift!!; if you want the item framed as a bonus treat, pick the Surprise Bonus Gift. A one-dollar difference is not the deciding factor; choose the framing that matches how you plan to use it.
- Bonus add-on versus standalone gift: The Surprise Bonus Gift works best as a coffee gift add-on to an existing order. The Mystery Gift!! works as a standalone surprise for a coffee lover or Jot fan. Decide first whether the item is an extra or the gift itself.
- Unknown contents: Neither product reveals its contents before arrival, and both list 'Just Wait & See' as the size option. Do not buy either if you need to know the exact item in advance. Buy only when the recipient enjoys an unknown surprise.
